Mission Statement

Welcome to the North Reading School of Ballet. It is the mission of our school to provide ballet training that is exact and disciplined, but with an atmosphere of accomplishment and fun. Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance and will develop strength, poise, discipline and grace which enriches a students life. Our Modern, Jazz and Tap classes complement the ballet training.

Company History

North Reading School of Ballet was founded in 1996 by director Lisa Pulver.

Based on the Cecchetti syllabus of classical ballet, the school has branched off in many dance directions. The innovative Dance & Doodle program for 2.5yr olds thru 4yr olds, was a first for combining dance, music, story time and art without being a mommy- and -me class. One big treat for the kids, and one giant treat for mom. Older students can enjoy classes in classical ballet and pointe, as well as jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip-hop and pilates. Summer camps at the school offer additional classes with dance injury prevention programs, acting workshops, choreography and character dance.

We are conveniently located on Main Street/Rt.28 just south of the Wal-Mart shopping plaza with easy highway access from Rt.93 and Rt.128.
